Artistic Statement

A painting should be more than something nice to look at. It should also be a visual experience. The harmonious arrangement of color, shape, and value of paint on the canvas should resonate in the eye of the viewer to the point where the painting takes on a life of its own.

Sometimes this is obvious, sometimes it is subtle. This is the goal I try to achieve in all my work, whether landscape, still life, or abstract.
